Books, May 4, The Toronto Star
In his review of Chasing a Mirage by Tarek Fatah, John Goddard claims that Fatah has traced “the ties to radical Islam of such organizations as the Islamic Society of North America and the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations.” But neither he nor Fatah is able to substantiate this oft-repeated canard with hard evidence.
We are a leading Muslim human rights advocacy group. Thankfully, we live in a society where you can succeed or fail by the merit of your work, and not through McCarthy-style accusations.
